Community Sale Success
On October 9, 2024, the Yum Party Community Sale sold out, showcasing the immense trust and enthusiasm of our Yums. This pivotal moment set the stage for our future seasons and the upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE) in early Q1 2025. Originally planned for Q4 2024, the allocation of 4% from the Community Sale has been rescheduled to ensure the smoothest possible launch early next year.
The initial token distribution model was designed to support the original Tap-to-Earn game. However, Yum Party’s evolution into a 3D multiplayer platform necessitated significant changes to better align with our community-first approach.
Key changes include:
Limiting Community Sales: Initially split across three stages totaling 20%, the Community Sale was consolidated into a single stage (4%). This freed up 16% of the total supply to be reinvested into community-focused initiatives.
Enhanced Community Rewards: The additional 16% allocation has been redirected to a new Additional Community Rewards Pool, ensuring further rewards for player engagement and participation, distributed gradually over time.
Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) Strategy: Learning from the failures of Tap-to-Earn projects, Yum Party has adopted the LBP mechanism to ensure fair price discovery and sustainable tokenomics at launch.
